Heat Exchangers

As pool builders, we have found that it is more practical and economical to use an independant conventional gas or oil boilers linked with the heat exchangers to heat the swimming pools, rather than a direct pool heater.
A heat exchanger kit comprises of a stainless steel heat exchanger, high temperature unions and either a Honeywell pool thermostat or a digital thermostat.
Some systems may need a flow switch plumbed into the pool pipework, so that the boiler only works when there is a flow of water around the heat exchanger.
With each size pool, we have recommended the size of heat exchanger needed, with the recommended size range of boiler needed as well. The system only works efficiently on outdoor pools when a pool cover is used.
