The Hydraulic Power Unit can be installed up to 200' away from the Fastlane swim unit. The Power Unit requires a 220 volt, 30-amp, GFCI electrical service. Recommended locations include a garage, basement or shed with existing electrical service or next to your pool equipment outdoors. The Hydraulic Power Unit should be elevated from the ground and installed on a flat, level surface. The unit should be installed undercover. Once the Power Unit is in place, have your electrician connect it to your electric service. Attach the hydraulic hoses using a crescent wrench and fill the reservoir with the 5 gallons of biodegradable vegetable oil. The mounting plate includes a lug that should be used to bond the Fastlane swim unit to the bonding circuit of your pool. This is a code requirement that should be met by pool ladders, diving boards, and Fastlanes. | ![]() |
